Please help me with... I was writing a Biographie about a dead person. The only thing I can find is the site: Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. is there any site on wikipedia of biographies of dead persons? Are there any templates? Thank you for any help! Atabozkurt612, The biographies of living persons is just a special policy we have that requires stricter sourcing. Writing about dead people is a bit easier (assuming they've been dead at least a few years). That is just the standard stuff we do on Wikipedia. Who are you writing about? Hello CaptainEek, thanks for your reply! I am writing about Sergio Custodio, a philosopher from Guatemala. He died a few months ago(my draft) so I think that I have to follow some special guidelines? Hi, as the draft is about someone who died in July 2020, then according to the "Recently dead or probably dead" section of the BLP policy, ... people who have recently died, in which case the policy can extend for an indeterminate period beyond the date of death—six months, one year, two years at the outside. Such extensions would apply particularly to contentious or questionable material about the dead that has implications for their living relatives and friends, such as in the case of a possible suicide or a particularly gruesome crime. Essentially, just make sure that everything is properly sourced to reliable sources, and anything that might be controversial is given very good and reliable sources. Currently, there are a few references using sources that he wrote himself (see WP:SPS); if possible, try and find sources written by other people about him.
