Non-free rationale for File:Logo of St. Paul University Dumaguete.svg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Logo of St. Paul University Dumaguete.svg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:11, 6 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

The above also applies to File:Logo of St. Paul University Manila.svg. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:13, 6 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Nice work and sorry

Hi Aspaciop, I am messaging you here instead of on Wikimedia Commons as you don't have a User page there and I wasn't sure you would see this. I wanted to tell you that I am the mean person that changed your photo on the Wikipedia Seoul Halloween page. It was a wonderful photo but there were already a couple of earlier shots on Wikimedia Commons to choose from for the article. I added the Category for your photo so it is now with the others. I think more photos weren't on the WP page because the article was not very long yet...images are usually balanced with the amount of word space. So I felt badly after changing the image....both are exceptional and it is wonderful to have several to choose from. If you want to change it back and put yours again, I won't argue. I have added photos to WP that were changed out on the following days. What is worse is having Wikimedia Commons delete a photo! Especially in South Korea of buildings and ones with people. You were exceptionally lucky to find a minute when there was no one in front of that alley! Anyway, I wanted to say I am sorry and thanks. Bonnielou2013 (talk) 07:54, 3 November 2022 (UTC) Or if you want, I will revert my edit and you won't have to do anything to the article. Just let me know here. Thanks,--Bonnielou2013 (talk) 07:56, 3 November 2022 (UTC) So I reverted my edit already....I felt too mean! I didn't want to scare you off WP or Commons! Keep up the good work!!!!--Bonnielou2013 (talk) 08:09, 3 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
