Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, ArmybaleS. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page James Arthur Ray, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you for disclosing that you are a paid editor, hired by James Arthur Ray, to edit his biographical article. Thank you also for following policy and proposing changes on article talk for others to review. - CorbieV 22:03, 22 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi , I have read the rules before making my first contribution and that's why I have disclosed everything. I really appreciate your response on my edit on the talk page of James Arthur Ray, but I have proposed to remove redundant and repetitive text on the page, while also removing the dead links. I have not requested any addition for business promotion. I sincerely request you to please make me understand where I went wrong. Thanks. --ArmybaleS (talk) 17:58, 1 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi @CorbieVreccan:, I would request you to please consider my proposal of edits on the page of James Arthur Ray. I don't want to do any business promotion. There are many discrepancies, dead links not verifying claims, redundant and incorrect content and repetitive text on his page which can be removed without removing any valid criticism of his criminal behaviour. I would appreciate if you could please get back to me with some thoughts. Thanks.--ArmybaleS (talk) 20:05, 11 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
