Your recent edits edit

Your recent edits to World of Warcraft and Farmer (gaming) introduced links to a site that sells virtual gold. Iis against wikipedia rules to link to a site that primarily exist to sell products or services unless no alternate sites on the topic are available. Please see Wikipedia:External links for more information. --Polkapunk 19:23, 11 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Removal of 3rd Party WoW Section edit

I removed the 3rd party WoW Business section for several reasons. First of all, it is covered in the Criticism of World of Warcraft article and, as you know, there is already an article about Farming. Second, the section was highly POV, to the point where it would need a complete rewrite. Third, since farming & sale of in-game items is prevelant in all MMOGs, it needs no more than a passing mention in this article (or in the criticisms of WoW article), unless you have information that pertains specifically to farming in WoW that distinguishes it from other MMOGS.

If you feel there is information specific to farming that needs to be added, add it to the farmer article and please refrain from web site promotions. --Polkapunk 20:12, 11 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fahrenheit 9/11 edit

OK, thanks for the explanation; there may have been more blame to go around; I will unblock your IP (and incidently won't block your account here). Please read WP:3RR - basically you cannot revert things you don't like, don't agree with, or even are 100% wrong such as "The sky is purple and moon is made of cheddar cheese" - just let them be, someone else will likely clean them up. When things are contentious as to whether this film is or isn't a documentary please discuss it on the talk page, solicit third parties (not me, I rarely watch films) for their opinions and then make changes based on consensus.
