WikiProject Physics - Speed of gravity edit

Hi, perhaps you should know that I brought some of your edits up at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Physics#Speed_of_gravity. Discussing this at that place might be better than risking an edit war. Cheers - DVdm (talk) 09:55, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Antichristos, your last edit to Speed of gravity is emphatically not an entirely new version. It seems to me that there is now an edit war going on; I would like to give you a chance to nip it in the bud by addressing my argument that you are repeatedly violating Wikipedia's policy on original research.Rafaelgr (talk) 14:07, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

3RR edit

Please by advised that Wikipedia has a policy against edit warring.

In particular the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Editors violating the rule will usually be blocked for 24 hours for a first incident.
  3. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

You are currently at 7 reversion in the last 24 hours. Please stop edit warring, read the relevant policy pages most significantly WP:OR, WP:SYNTH, and WP:3RR, and discuss the issue on the relevant talk pages.TimothyRias (talk) 14:52, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced content edit

Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Speed of gravity with these edits. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - DVdm (talk) 18:29, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

3RR revisited edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Speed of gravity. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording, and content that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - DVdm (talk) 20:04, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Note. I have opened an edit warring report here. DVdm (talk) 20:11, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring at Speed of gravity edit

Please take a look at our WP:Edit warring policy. You seem to have made more than three reverts of Speed of gravity in one day, and an admin may decide to block you from editing. If you will reply at WP:AN3#User:Antichristos reported by User:DVdm (Result: ) and promise to behave differently in the future, you may be able to avoid sanctions. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 21:22, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

January 2011 edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring, as you did at Speed of gravity. Once the block has expired, you're welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

As a result of your evasion of this block and your continued disruption through various IPs, I have extended it to two weeks from today. Further evasion of this block will result in your block being extended further. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 19:54, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Re-publishing your work edit

Hello, I can understand if you are very frustrated...it's obvious that you put a LOT of time into your edits that people (including me) have been undoing. I just want to remind you: Even if what you wrote does not stay on Wikipedia, it is still your text and you are entitled to put it up elsewhere on the internet (in a Google Knol, on your personal website, etc.), in a book or article, etc. Your effort is not necessarily wasted! (Even if it does get erased from Wikipedia.) As I'm sure you know, you can click "View history" to find previous versions of an article. Best wishes, --Steve (talk) 03:26, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Block evasion edit

Please note that per wp:block evasion, you are not allowed to edit in logged-out mode, like you did as 89.110.14.26 (talk · contribs) with this removal of part of Action at a distance (physics). You can put an unblock request on this talk page, but you are not allowed to edit as an anonymous user during your block period. DVdm (talk) 19:18, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppetry case edit

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Systemizer for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Dmcq (talk) 23:06, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
