You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Resonantia. Blocked as a sockpuppet

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Resonantia per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Resonantia. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- RoySmith (talk) 17:05, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Why have I been blocked? I admitted to using two accounts, but NEVER for illegitimate reasons. On my two accounts (and before, as an IP editor) I have only ever made edits in good faith. Anonymous526 (talk) 05:37, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I am not a puppet of Resonatia. I am the user of this account (Anonymous526) and Anonymous874 only. Before creating these two accounts, I was exclusively an unregistered editor. If I violated multiple account policy, it was unintentional and caused by my misunderstanding policy. I have never maliciously edited Wikipedia. Please look at the edits I have made. All were made in good faith. When my edits were reverted, I never repeated them. I don't know why I am assumed to be Resonatia. All I have in common with them is I worked on the GrapheneOS article on the same day as them, and apparently we both drew the ire of the same aggressive editor. Please note, the last time I used my other account (Anonymous874) was weeks before this incident. Again, I am not Resonantia. I don't know them, and I don't approve of their edits. Why am I assumed to be them? Anonymous526 (talk) 8:12 am, Yesterday (UTC−4)

Accept reason:

I am going to unblock this account but, per the statement below, I'm going to leave Anonymous874 blocked. This unblock is contingent on you sticking to using just a single account, and no IP editing, from here on. -- RoySmith (talk) 13:44, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
