April 2024

Hello, I'm Rdp060707. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Journal of Investigative Dermatology, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ----Rdp060707|talk 14:31, 23 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Journal of Investigative Dermatology, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:AnitaCJudd, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=AnitaCJudd|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Randykitty (talk) 16:05, 30 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, AnitaCJudd. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Journal of Investigative Dermatology, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Randykitty (talk) 16:04, 30 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello - I have updated the Journal of Investigative Dermatology page with information about the company. I do some contract work for the journal and so am aware of the most recent information to share with Wikipedia users. Please let me know if this is acceptable. Thank you. Hello, and thanks for the notice below. Not to worry about not having noticed the posts to your talk page: on some platforms (like mobile phones) those alerts can sometimes be not very noticeable.
Thank you for clarifying about the conflict of interest. Please have a read of the guidelines on paid editing: you'll need to disclose the paid editing, and your future edits on the related journals should be proposed at the respective talk page, rather than made directly.
Thanks again, and please let me know if I can be of any help with this. Wikishovel (talk) 16:47, 2 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying, you may be blocked from editing. Wikishovel (talk) 11:43, 1 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please see above, I had not seen the above message until now. AnitaCJudd (talk) 12:54, 2 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

JID Innovations moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to JID Innovations. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Wikishovel (talk) 11:44, 1 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
