I know I was surprised when the album packaging got nominated as I didn't even know there was such a category to begin with :P. BTW No-one calls it Gaelic, the majority of people who speak it call it Irish :). Also here's your first Irish lesson, a "poem" in my native Irish tongue:

As you can see the ad makes fun of the fact that this is the level of Irish among most of Irish people and so explains the simplicity of the random phrases that that guy learned when he was in school and his friends said it was a "poem". Now I know tons of real poems and can give an in-depth analysis of each in very complicated fancy Irish yet, for some reason my level of usable Irish is almost non-existant :). No problemo. I'm used to the random disruption of IP adresses, even dynamic ones. So I'll be on the look out for when he returns next. But now that more editors are on the list (his attack list) it makes it easier to detect him faster so he'll get blocked faster(I assume if his behaviour continues that path). You know you can just add it to the article yourself by uploading it once you've created an account. Also adding a picture to an article, usually calls for a discussion on the talkpage if the picture is intended to replace the main picture. But unfortunately I don't have much experience in uploading pictures to wikipedia so it might better asking another editor with more experience in this area or uploading it yourself. All the best. Actually you tagged it after it was deleted(which happened at the exact same minute if I remember correctly). I then tagged the article for deletion with Twinkle which automatically sends a template to the person who created the page. By tagging it the same minute it was deleted, you accidentally created the page again which had to be deleted again as all it contained was a tag. AngelOfSadness talk 20:28, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Don't make false accusations against other editors!

You falsely accused me of removing text from the Midori Snyder article. I removed no text or content from the article. I removed a grossly inappropriate prod and a set of maliciously applied tags. I added an internal link showing notability. You returned the prod, which is a violation of WIkipedia rules and without explanation deleted the link I added. But,in fairness, you did remove text/content/templates from the article without actually addressing any of the issues on the prod template. Adding one wikilink doesn't make the subject of the article anymore notable, notability is added with references to third party independant sources. And it isn't violation of Wikipedia rules re-adding a prod whose issues were not addressed as there is a list of issues that do apply to that article such as unreferenced content, clean up etc. However looking back at the other tags put there on the article, most of them don't apply but if you could, as you seem to know a bit about the subject of the article, fix up the article with sources etc, it would be great. I think I was a little hasty earlier reverting your edit as now I'm thinking the prod may not even be suitable as all the article is lacking is reliable sources. Cheers. They may not be perfect, but my interest was in removing the malicious attack, not in perfecting footnotes. But remember that semi-protecting the page will mean not as many creative nonsense edits. I got my userpage protected back in October mainly because of a dynamic IP vandal that harassed many other editors and decided to put me on his list when I corrected him. Anyway, his edits were pretty much the same thing but I do really miss edits like this from time to time. On a completely different note, perhaps it's time for you to have more than just the rollback and get the admin tools, too? I noticed that you declined an RfA nomination offer from Nishkid64 back in December. I think you should reconsider and accept a nomination from him. My God, it took me hours to decide if I should accept or decline that nomination as my mind wouldn't allow me a simple yes or no answer to begin with. And I didn't edit at all during that time, just paced my bedroom listening to the Foo Fighters, loudly. Why the Foo Fighters? I'm not really sure to be honest :). But I think that the end of May/beginning of June is a good time as I'm still currently making very extremely stupid mistakes that I know will come back to haunt me once that red link turns blue. Also the timing will be good then as there will be a lot less distractions in real life, I hope :). I think there are a few people that want to nominate me, I know Nishkid 64 and Acalamari aswell, who welcomed me to the community way back at the beginning of July, and there's a few others, I think, but my mind is blanking now. How did you manage that? It's like saying "Wow I haven't made any accidental reverts all week!" and suddenly that orange bar shows up and it's time to fear the worst: Either someone says you made a mistake and are very annoyed and demand an apoligy at once or it's an angry vandal. HIM's grammy nomination

How is it a violation of WP:NPOV that HIM (more specifically the album Venus Doom) is nominated for a grammy? I don't think stating a fact like HIM's album being nominated for a Grammy violates WP:NPOV at all. Other bands that have had similar nominations, and without winning, have the same thing: "{band} is a Grammy-nominated band etc.", so an explantion of why you think it does, is wanted. — Save_Us † 01:08, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

For AngelOfSadness: This is the best explanation of why saying "(so and so) is a Grammy-award winning/nominated (such and such)" in the opening sentence is not NPOV; and as for all those other artists that have "is a Grammy-nominated/winning" in the opening sentence, they should have it removed too. Acalamari has explained it perfectly. Having "{band} is a Grammy-award nominated/winning" in the opening sentence does set a slight biased view on the article. The opening sentence is to explain who HIM are and they are a Finnish rock band. Even though they win or are nominated for awards, it's not who they are. We could include that they have been nominated for the award later in the lead paragraph for example "As of 2008, they are the first and only Finnish band to go Gold in the United States. Their latest album , Venus Dooom, was nominated in the Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package category at the 2008 Grammy Awards". Also if you look at the Audioslave, Metallica, Megadeth and Nine Inch Nails articles. All four bands have been nominated multiple times for Grammy awards but it isn't mentioned until the middle/last part of their respective lead paragraphs. And I think we should do the same with the HIM article aswell, partly because the four articles I mentioned above are all featured articles and isn't the ultimate goal for the HIM article is to get it to eventual featured status. I also know that the HIM article has a long way to go before featured status but we could at least start with this. AngelOfSadness talk 13:03, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

And just a note, I've also seen 62.158.116.231 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) (the IP that vandalized Milk's Favorite Cookie's userpage) post spam comments on YouTube several times as well, as seen in the comments section on this video (I could tell it's the same person because the comment is identical). Cheers for the barnstar. Isn't it times like these when I wish that youtube was more like wikipedia: if people post spam/abusive comments they get blocked. YouTube is a bit like Wikipedia; if a user violates Terms of Use, spams, and infringes copyright, their account gets suspended. However, YouTube doesn't have checkuser and it is impossible to block IP addresses from creating new accounts. NHRHS2010 19:02, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Now that's what Youtube is missing: Checkuser. But there's so many banned users creating new accounts that starting to use Checkuser now would probably takes months to clear the years of misuse.
