ENG 465 Check-In

edit

Hi Andrea,

This is Sam, the TA from ENG 465! Prof. Hanley asked me to help get in touch with everyone this weekend to make sure the Wiki assignments are moving along smoothly.

You've clearly kept up with all the training modules and exercises, and I can tell you took the exercises to find articles, evaluate them, select one article to work on, and then start creating a bibliography seriously, and it shows! Prof. Hanley has the final say, of course... but I think The Giver should be a great choice for this assignment. If you don't need my help with anything, it looks like you're doing great! Happy to see it!

Feel free to reply to me here if you do need assistance with anything at all! I have email notifications on :) --Sjnickerson (talk) 22:01, 6 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi Sam,
Thank you so much for the comment & feedback!! I greatly appreciate it!! (: Andreanicolecruz (talk) 06:06, 7 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
I talked to Professor Hanley last Tuesday before class & he approved me focusing on the reception/controversies surrounding The Giver as long as I was able to find at least 5 articles. Andreanicolecruz (talk) 06:16, 7 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hello again, Andrea!
I'm sorry I didn't realize Professor Hanley had already approved your topic! We've been in consistent communication, but there are still so many steps to this Wikipedia project and so many students each working on their own thing. It's actually really fun (I've been doing the assignment too!), but still a lot to keep up with for Professor Hanley... I get why it's helpful for him to have a TA in this class now, haha! Excited that you're already making such great progress! Lmk if anything comes up that I could help with :) --Sjnickerson (talk) 19:49, 7 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Great! No worries Sam, thank you so much for checking in!! Andreanicolecruz (talk) 00:12, 8 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hey Andrea,
Just a heads up, I "green lighted" your article draft and left you some additional feedback that you can read here, if/when you want!
Cheers! --Sjnickerson (talk) 04:58, 19 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
