Possible Vandalism on Barry Cooper page?
Good Day. I am not a vandalizing, I am restoring the page to it's original content as I see no legitimate reason for your edits. The page is correct and factual as it was. If you could explain to me in detail, exactly why it is that you feel the need to revert to something that has less detail and is less accurate, I will be happy to review your information. Thanks. - Xtroublex: A simple explanation of the changes i've made is available on the page's history in which edit summaries are provided. I suggest you review Wikipedia's policies. Much of the information in this revision of the article is not sourced at all, which is absolutely unacceptable on Wikipedia. Information held on Wikipedia must not only be accurate, it must also be notable, well-cited and told from a neutral point of view. I added citations where I could, but some information which was not notable, verifiable or neutral simply must be removed, especially as this is a biography of a living person. If you'd like to add information back to the article, provide a reliable source. Otherwise, do not revert constructive edits to Wikipedia, as that constitutes disruptive editing. - Hello, I will gladly add the sources and references you are requesting. Please give me 10 days from today 12-13-19, and I will make sure it is complete. I appreciate you working with me on this as obviously the edits and re-edits are getting us nowhere. Because of the controversial nature of what Barry Cooper does, there are many people out there who only seek to try and hinder and or defame him. He is constantly bombarded by people who's only goal is to prove that their opinion is the correct opinion and nothing more. So I kindly request that you resist for the 10 day period changing the page to give me an opportunity to provide the sources that you request. Thank you for your time. - I will give you ten days. Other editors may still revert your changes, as the current article does not meet Wikipedia standards at all. The reply I originally sent contains a few helpful links to detailed guides on Wikipedia's policies and guidelines as well as manual of style articles. I also suggest you check out the article discussing biographies of living persons, as the guidelines are somewhat more stringent. If we cannot form a satisfactory conclusion using consensus soon, I will either ask for a third opinion or use the dispute resolution noticeboard. Thanks.
