August 2009 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Oil exploration in Puntland. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Please stop inserting unsupported, clearly self-serving information into the article. Your company appears to have done nothing but file a lawsuit (on dubious grounds which you have failed to provide a link to) and neither the current governments of Somalia or Puntland seem to consider your claim valid. The article is complicated enough without adding your bogus legal claims to the mix. I'm sorry, if your case is upheld in the courts then it belongs in the article, otherwise it's just not notable. Proposed deletion of Ali Adawe Abdullahi edit

The article Ali Adawe Abdullahi has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. September 2010 edit

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to File:Somalia ethnic grps 2002.jpg. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Note that the figures come directly from the CIA map itself. Gyrofrog (talk) 14:35, 17 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Ali Adawe Abdullahi. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. August 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen (Amsas) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

  1. It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization.
  2. Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.

Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guidelines concerning editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. The article in question is Oil exploration in Puntland. Thank you. Gyrofrog (talk) 18:25, 24 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only you. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you.
