Re: FC Syrianska edit

I have full respect for the Assyrian people in everyway. However on wikipedia there is a serie of guidelines and policies that each editor is askt to follow when editing, as it is in this case a football club in question you may look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football for exact details.

The guidelines and policies of the pages askt the editor to do a:

Note: Flags indicate national team as defined under FIFA eligibility rules. Players may hold more than one non-FIFA nationality.

No. Pos. Nation Player
30 MF   SWE Sharbel Touma

Instead of:

Note: Flags indicate national team as defined under FIFA eligibility rules. Players may hold more than one non-FIFA nationality.

No. Pos. Nation Player
30 MF   SWE Sharbel Touma

In this case i would belive the players to be Swedish citizen, the Armenian-Assyrians, and therefore should only a Swedish flag be present between the squad number and the players position, if they players are registered in another country the flag should of course be changed to the correct one.

I do not mean to be impolite or offensive against Assyrians in anyway, i just follow the guidelines and policies that have been put up Wikipedia administrators, in case you feel that this should be changed you can put up a request for it on the football project discussion page. --> Halmstad, Charla to moi 17:35, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

My apologies for saying Armenian-Assyrian, my bad and error. Of course your right that people should be informed about it in a encyclopedia, but there is other ways of doing so, instead of adding the the Assyrian flag into the squad list, you can instead create a section above, such as the The fans and the History section, in which you explain how the team is seen as a in unofficial national team for the Arameans-Assyrians. --> Halmstad, Charla to moi 20:61, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
