Re:Angelique: I created the disambig in accordance with Wiki policy and practice because I heard on television about the new book on Angelique but searched Wikipedia and could find nothing. I knew of the Angelique heroine from film but there was nothing at Wiki either. I added two more so now there are six different Angelique's (and more will likely surface as the film rights to the 2006 book may have been sold plus there are many applications, many of which are singular, for this common name). Thanks. - Ted Wilkes 13:27, 28 February 2006 (UTC) I have changed it from Angelique (computer game) to Angelique (Japanese series). It is much more accurate now. Alcy 01:37, 1 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

High School! Kimengumi

edit

Please provide sources for the "official" title. I have tons of Kimen-gumi merchandise, books, DVDs, etc., and I've never seen it romanized in any form. If this is the way it's romanized, then we need a source so the title doesn't keep getting changed. Thanks! ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 02:59, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Master System is region-free?

edit

Hi, I just saw your edit of import gamers, and was wondering if you knew more information on this. From what I heard, the North American Master System was incapable of playing Mark I, Mark II, or Mark III games, and had a different cartridge shape than Japanese Master System games. I do not have a Master System yet, so I have no personal experience in this matter. Could you please elaborate?Alcy 05:30, 3 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, you're quite right. I've expanded on that slightly in the article. Also, I've clarified that it's not the case that Japanese or European/American MD carts are wider, but they're mutually incompatible shapes. Simple "Honey Bee"-style adaptors were available for either shape of slot, and squareing the slot also works either way.boffy_b 08:55, 3 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Kaito Apricot

edit

"(cur) (last) 08:35, 11 August 2006 Alcy (Talk | contribs | block) m (moved Mysterious Thief Apricot to Kaitou Apricot: There is no English version of this game, therefore an English translation of the name should not be the header.)" - True, BUT it should be Kaitō Apricot, unless there is an official romanization. WhisperToMe 08:43, 11 August 2006 (UTC) The characters, though, have official romanizations. WhisperToMe 08:44, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

AfD Nomination: Ciara (Bratz character)

edit

I've nominated the article Ciara (Bratz character) for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Ciara (Bratz character) satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ciara (Bratz character). Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of Ciara (Bratz character) during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion.

I've nominated this article for deletion because the individual dolls in the set don't appear to meet the notability criteria of WP:CORP, even though the set of dolls as a unit probably do. See: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ciara (Bratz character) for discussion. Espresso Addict 23:13, 22 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

It looks like the consensus went with delete on this one. Just a heads up that I intend to PROD the other articles on individual dolls over the next day or so, so you might want to decide on how you want to proceed with collating the information back to the main Bratz page, creating a new list page or whatever. In any case, I'd suggest that you save all the information somewhere in case of over-enthusiastic adminning. Drop me a line on my talk page to discuss. Espresso Addict 18:04, 27 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Just in case you've not already seen it, I've put a proposal to blank and redirect all the character subpages to List of Bratz characters on the talk page of that article, after discussion with Kappa suggested that simply deleting them was inappropriate. I suggest that any discussion is centralised at Talk:List of Bratz characters. Espresso Addict 02:34, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've noticed that you're expanding the Bratz characters page, and you're often referring to Japan. Please note that Japanese links to a disambiguation page, and the link you would like to make is probably either Japanese or Japanese in any given edit. Thanks!
