 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, BusterD (talk) 16:38, 5 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Edit summaries

edit

Thanks for contributing, Alburobizet (talk · contribs) Edit summaries are very important, to tell other editors what you have done, and why. No one wants to scroll through 100,000 words looking for changes and figuring out what you intended. A good edit summary avoids talk page debates, Another editor can quickly endorse your edit if the summary supports it. Please write a brief summary of all your edits. (Yes, I forget occasionally, too; so I often go back to add it.) Humphrey Tribble (talk) 20:34, 5 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please use the talk page of any site before making unconstructive changes in the lede of any article. The lede (or lead) is meant to be short and consice giving a summary of the article in question, adding (or duplicating) to it really isnt necessary. Also as what is mentioned above, you're not explaining why you are making the changes. Eastfarthingan (talk) 13:51, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

I have not made unconstructive edits, and I always add sources and content necessary for the lead. Thank you. Alburobizet (talk) 13:53, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Daniel Case (talk) 03:44, 26 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
