Welcome! edit

Hello, Alaricx3, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

April 2019 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Romulus Senior High School, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Enrollment stats are generally sourced to NCES. They do need to be updated, but please do not change sources. John from Idegon (talk) 17:21, 25 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

May 2019 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Romulus Senior High School, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Max preps is not a reliable source. MHSAA would be fine. No need to list enrollment (which is the proper term. Rarely do you see a source use "student population") or anything else that is subject to change in the lede. Additionally, please add the source for all the figures you enter. Tables should only be used to present information where items have multiple data points. They are difficult to edit which discourages editors not well versed in markup. Speaking of which, we don't use HTML here (even though like your unneeded insertion of "</br>" I removed, it sometimes works.) (The proper wikicode for that would be "<br>".) Please read the documentation for Template:infobox school and the school article guidelines. If you have questions please ask. I have no idea what the goals of your assignment are, but generally school articles are a poor choice. There just isn't much that can be added. John from Idegon (talk) 07:02, 7 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
Well, I completed the NCES update, sourced athletics to MHSAA and added notables (plus sourced attendance for those already there). I used the "what links here" tab to locate biographies with links to the article. There were two (Charley Lau and Devin Searcy) on which I couldn't locate sources for attendance, so I omitted them. Lau especially should be relatively easy to source - just search for news stories on the dedication of the baseball field named for him. Outside of that, I'd suggest concentrating on history. Other than that, and sources for the rivalry, the article is pretty much complete. John from Idegon (talk) 09:01, 7 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
