response to survey edit

I am male.

By the way I became an admin way back in 2004. The RFA process was very different at that time, with candidates not even being required to answer questions, and overall a much more easy process. Let me know if you need more assistance with your research. Academic Challenger (talk) 20:32, 31 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Question edit

Are you using some form of automated delivery for this message? (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:43, 31 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

You have not replied, and you're making more than 3 edits per minute delivering SPAM. As such, I have blocked you - hoping you will respond accordingly. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:55, 31 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Hi Bwilkins and xeno! Akoha77 is working with me so, since she is blocked, I reply. Sorry if we caused problems, it was not our intention! We are not using automated delivery forms for writing the messages. We simply did some copy and paste. Before writing the messages, I asked to 2 admins if this way of doing it was ok and they reply that, according to them, it was ok (see 1 and 2). Of course this does not mean that I'm arguing that we can do it. It is simply to say that I did some work in trying to understand if we could do the survey in this way. If it is ok, I first read Wikipedia:Research and then I write at being discussed at WP:AN. Thanks for your suggestions reply and sorry again for any problem we might have caused! phauly (talk) 13:15, 31 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
One of those admins is very new... The other is very old. =) Probably neither was aware that there are procedures in place for researchers on Wikipedia... Thanks for explaining and your attention to this. –xenotalk 13:19, 31 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Based on the discussion at WP:AN, I have unblocked with the understanding that future research will follow established processes, and that you will communicate accordingly when prompted. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 15:37, 31 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks everybody involved in the discussion! And Thanks for the suggestions! I guess we will go the WP:SRAG way. Thanks again! phauly (talk) 09:43, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
