Hey man, I am a college student and for my final project I need to edit a Wikipedia page. Would It be possible for me to get the work I need to get done. Should only be about an hour or so. You can do test edits in your sandbox. Editing public articles in a way that breaks policy is not appropriate. If your professor is making you do that for a grade, please direct them to Wikipedia:Education program so they can learn how to create assignments in a way that will not conflict with basic policies. I sense that your assignment might be unfair. I don't know what it requires exactly, but Wikipedia will maintain its purpose the way Wikipedia works. It feels like a Stage Design 101 class has been directed to go to Macy's display window and arrange a Christmas themed display. Continuing as you have will surely result in a block. Unless the assignment is to teach how to work in a cooperative environment that has a substantial history of policies and guidelines built up, in which case you will have learned quite a lot, and deserve full marks. _signed, Willondon (talk) 02:19, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
