I award you this Running Man Barnstar for your good athletics coverage.

I don't know if you'll return, but here's your well-deserved barnstar anyway. Punkmorten 11:52, 12 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Athletes

edit

Hi. I see you have been creating articles on athletes. Rather than simply saying "2005 World Championships" could you say what World Championships! Also if you could wikify the articles you create, see Help:Starting a new page. Thank you

If the articles are going to be short, can you also add {{athlete-stub}} as well, please. --TheParanoidOne 18:46, 31 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Jonah Birir

edit

Jonah Birir has been proposed for deletion. An editor is concerned that this person is not sufficiently notable for an article. Please review WP:BIO for the relevant concerns. If you can address these concerns, please edit the article to emphasize this person's notability. You might want to explain your reasoning on the talk page. If you feel you have made your case, remove the prod template to stop the deletion process.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the prod template, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If the tag is removed without the concerns being addressed, the article may still face deletion through debate at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. NickelShoe 16:22, 22 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs

edit

Hello Affenhausen! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 9 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 311 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
