Help

edit

OK, sorry, not sure what I am doing here. Hopefully this is a correct way to ask a question. Anyway, I recently submitted an article about Phantom Automation. I intended to link it to the GUI Automation Tools article, and tried to make it similar to other links in that article, in that it is not an advertisement, but information. I accidentally saved the article instead of sandboxing it, and it was marked for deletion. So, I added the 'hangon' tag, made my updates, and it was deleted anyway. I want to contact the deleter to ask why it was deleted, and to see if they even saw my changes, but I dont know how to post a new subject on their discussion page (it was Akradecki that deleted it).

Any help is appreciated.

You can contact the deleting admin by following this link. Ask them to WP:USERFY it for you. This mean you can work on it in your userspace.--DFS454 (talk) 20:24, 6 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your help... I just tried contacting the admin who deleted it.

Thanks!

Userfy

Your article's been userfied, it's at User:Aeroslacker/Phantom automation. AKRadeckiSpeaketh 20:38, 6 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi AKRadecki-

Thanks very much for the feedback. So, as I understand it, I cant add an article on Phantom because it is not popular enough? I.e., it does not have enough external coverage? Some of the other automation tools I have seen listed are pretty obscure. If this is the case, there is essentially nothing I can do to add this article? I think it would be as valuable an addition to the 'List of GUI testing tools' article as many of the other tools listed. Some of them are direct links to the tool homepage. Is that my only option?

Thanks for your help!

See wp:corp, wp:web, wp:n and wp:v. These are our guidelines and polices. Your article needs to demonstratabley rise to the level of encyclopedic notability. Such notability has to be documented by reliable sources, which are independent of the subject, and provide significant coverage. If you can meet those standards, your article would be welcomed here.
