Welcome to Wikipedia!

Welcome! My name is Cindamuse, and I'm one of the online ambassadors, a group of experienced Wikipedians who offer mentorship to newcomers. You don't need to read anything; you can just jump right in and try to improve Wikipedia. If you need help, you can talk with us right now, or can leave me a message on my user talk page. Have fun! Survey edit

Hi AdrienneAAnderson!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! Kansas Republican Party edit

I saw that you've selected Kansas Republican Party as the article you plan to work on, but I also noticed that all the recent edits to it are by someone who is not logged in. You can see the article history here. I don't know if that's you, but if it is you probably need to log in if you want your instructor to give you credit for the work. I've also left a note on your instructor's talk page. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 01:03, 2 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. I really appreciate the help. I was confused on how to incorporate the platforms and stances. This really helps. I will delete it tomorrow and redo it according to your guidelines. AdrienneAAnderson (talk) 08:18, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Issue with Kansas Republican Party edit

Hi -- the changes you've been making to Kansas Republican Party are problematic, I'm afraid. Take a look at Talk:Kansas Republican Party; I've left you a note there about the problems, and a suggestion on how to fix them. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 01:53, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. I really appreciate the help. I was confused on how to incorporate the platform and stances, I understand now. I will delete everything I added tomorrow and start over according to your guidelines. AdrienneAAnderson (talk) 08:20, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

KRP again edit

It looks good. I don't know how you're being graded, so I can't tell you if you should add anything else, but what you've added so far is good material. The nice thing about a wiki is that others will come along later and add more. I fixed some formatting issues, and I'm sure if you wanted to make this an ongoing project we could think of more changes to make, but it's OK as it is, and the changes you've made have improved the article. If you plan to do more, let me know if I can help you figure out what can be added. I think we could probably expand the narrative history of the early years of the party, for example, but obviously it depends on what you need for your grade. I hope you enjoyed working on it!
