Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Adriansnephew", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it implies that you are related to a notable person. It specifically goes agianst the third paragraph of WP:IMPERSONATE. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. - I know it's hard to take anyone's word without knowing them so I'll add a bit more to validate myself as a source. Steve Snyder owned the South jersey regional Airport and the air victory museum. He had a F-104 at the museum that he refurbished with the Dutch Air Force colors to honor his friend and coworker Ad. This link has a photo if you wish to see it. - I haven't edited a page in Wikipedia before because I didn't have to. When I did the first edit, I thought it was reverted because it was just an ip address so I made an account without looking at name rules. I figured you'd see the relevance for the edit. I was wrong. - Since I was just a little boy in 1981, it's possible the national geographic article this info came from was wrong, but I can't try to get them to correct an error like we can on this platform. Adriansnephew (talk) 23:55, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- Although it must be frustrating, Wikipedia's policy on verifiability states that we must go with what the reliable published sources say. Please see Verifiability, not truth for an essay that explains that further. Dorsetonian (talk) 06:37, 12 October 2023 (UTC)

- The notice did have a link to where you can change your username, it was not a severe warning. The unsourced addition would only be up to a level 2 warning. So its not serious yet, you can just change the username and clear up the username policy problem. Idontknowwhattouseasmyusername300 (talk) 13:03, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
- I'm actually not going to use it anyway. I tried to right a wrong and it's not possible, so I'll leave the inaccuracies as they are. Since i don't vandalize or whatever it is called, i have no need to have an account. Thanks for the lessons in the ways of wiki-jail. -van den Berg, out.
