Talk:Alan Dershowitz/GA1 edit

Adam Black GB, you opened this review back on December 22, 2019, and haven't since edited on Wikipedia. It's been six weeks, and since no reviewing has actually been done (the template you inserted is empty) I'm considering this abandoned and removing your review page so another reviewer can pick up the article. At this point, the nominator has been waiting for a review for over eleven months, and it isn't fair to keep them waiting any longer.

As a general matter, I was surprised to see an editor with as little Wikipedia experience as yourself opening a GA review, since the quality level and expectations for such articles is so high. You might want to gain more such experience, and perhaps put an article of your own through the GA nomination process, before next attempting a review. Best of luck going forward! Thank you for your message. I have been quite unwell and have been recovering from a particularly bad episode recently. I completely forgot about this review until you mentioned it. I believe I started it the same day as my last admission to hospital. I had done some work on it but don't know what has happened to it. I was writing my notes in a Word document, as I do with article contributions (an easy way to avoid grammatical errors).
I appreciate your comments on this. I have a few articles I want to create, which I think I can get to good article status. I will submit one of those, when the time comes, for consideration. I would point out, though, that whilst I appear inexperienced I have made infrequent contributions for over a decade but without creating an account. I am more familiar with Wikipedia than it would appear. I've also got extensive experience with creating and managing MediaWiki installations through my work so I know how the software behind Wikipedia works as well.
Thanks again for letting me know about this. Once I am feeling better, I hope to be able to make substantial contributions to the project. My condition affects my cognitive function (particularly my memory and my ability to focus), especially when I am experiencing an episode so I can't contribute frequently but will do so when I can.
