Wikipedia:WikiProject Cooperation edit

It appears you haven't discovered this yet, so FYI. Deals with just this sort of issue and looks like you've been around enough to lend good advice to some editors. CarolMooreDC 19:58, 29 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the info. I had reviewed that Project, however the project's scope explicitly states "The project is focused on editors who are paid to edit Wikipedia or assigned to do so by their employer and not COI in general". I'm neither a paid editor nor do I edit to as part of my job. Still, thank you! Achowat (talk) 20:32, 29 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
It's funny, I used to disclose all my POVs on my user page - libertarian, peacenik, etc. - and I was accused of SELF-PROMOTION by an admin! So I took it off. So I just figured with all these mea culpas after the description of your work you MUST be paid - so I stopped reading after first paragraph, second section. Then I stopped being as active politically, just active on Wikipeida, and didn't both to mention activism. Eventually I got slammed for COI for not specifying every single email list I was currently getting email about other's activism! Damned if you do... etc... I just wanted to make sure no one thinks I'm editing for any other reason than to help the project. Cheers! Achowat (talk) 01:37, 1 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
Putting accurate, well referenced info into any article usually helpful. Unless it's totally undue, repetitious soapbox coatrack. :-) CarolMooreDC 14:06, 1 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
