Hi, I deleted your recent article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts or show that it meets the notability guidelines for organisations or films. Although you gave references, they were to sources that can be self edited, including Imdb, blogs or other non-reliable sources. I don't think the refs supported the text anyway, other than that the film existed, but they were not in-line, so it's hard to be sure.
  • The films are referenced only to Imbd, suggests they are not notable
  • The films were distributed on DVD "non-commercially", and via the Internet, again, no suggestion of notability. You mention circulation, but no verifiable figures or profits are given.
  • It was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced claims without in-line citations include:circulation was widespread... received critical acclaim all across the country... synonymous with a movement

Note, incidentally, that there should be no urls in the text. Wikilinks to existing articles only, all urls should be in the references or an external links section.

Although this may be a worthy enterprise, it seems to be a semi-professional group releasing stuff on the Internet, with no verifiable sales or profit figures, and no evidence that any of the films meet the notability criteria. We get lots of articles from "up-and-coming bands", local theatre groups, YouTube singers and actors and the like. That doesn't mean that they meet the threshold for an encyclopaedia article. If you can show notability, try again, otherwise it's a matter of waiting until they are famous Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:25, 4 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes, things like major newspapers etc, see this for what you should be looking for. Sources don't have to be in English, but since this is en-wiki, that's preferable if there is a choice between English and Bengali. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:39, 4 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
Entirely unrelated, I notice that you have been publicly posting your email address. That's up to you, but a less exposed way of doing it is to enable email on your preference page, which means that people can email you without seeing your email address (until you reply). If you chose this option, "email this user" will appear in the sidebar of your user page Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:58, 4 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
Ignore, I see you've done it Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:59, 4 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
