Hi! Thanks for uploading Image:Msrit esb 1.jpg, Image:Msrit esb 2.jpg, and Image:Msrit esb 3.jpg. I notice they currently don't have image copyright tags. Could you add those to let us know their copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much, – Quadell (talk) (sleuth) 22:27, August 23, 2005 (UTC)

Request for assitance edit

Hello Abhijit,

Dev Boro Dees Deum.

I am User:Deepak D'Souza, a Wikipedian and Konkani like you.

Perhaps you may be aware , or maybe not , that there is a Konkani Wikipedia on test at Wikimedia Incubator. It has been around since August 2006 , but has been lacking contributors. Till now it has been a one man effort by User:Fredricnoronha. I myself became aware of it in February.

Since you show an active interest in Konkani related articles, and are an experienced user,I strongly request you to contribute to the Konkani Wikipedia. We intend to make it a muti-script(at least Romi Lipi and Devanagiri and also Kannada script.)

We have started with a few articles and need a lot of help given the various dialects and scripts in use for Konkani.

Your contribution will be neccessary to make this project a success. Any little time you can give will be greatly appreciated.

The url is given below:

With regards Deepak D'Souza.

AfD nomination of Embassy Golf Links edit

An editor has nominated Embassy Golf Links, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Embassy Golf Links and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 14:16, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Konkani Language Babel Language Templates edit

Greetings fellow Konkani,

It is suggested that we translate into Konkani. The idea behind the language templates is to suggest to another user a users proficiency in a particular language. Under this logic, it is only fair that the templates be translated into Konkani. We will enlist our phrases and deliberate thereupon. Phrases based on mutual consent will then be posted.

Please lave suggestions and comments on the Discussion page.

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
