I hope this welcome offsets the rather brusque warning about inappropriate pages below! If your page is deleted, you might like to have a look at this page which may suggest why. One of the most frequent reasons for deletion is that a subject fails to meet these criteria for notability. Alternatively, a notable subject may just not be properly verified with in-line citations. There are some really helpful suggestions about drafting, improving and perfecting articles at the blue links shown. You seem to be creating a couple of atricles with similar titles - please let me know if you need help getting the articles into the format you need. Hit the 'edit this page' link at the top of this page, and leave your comments at the bottom. Speedy deletion of Animate Projects

edit

A tag has been placed on Animate Projects requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion of Animate Projects

A tag has been placed on Animate Projects, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Advice about business articles

edit

Before you put too much effort into these "Animate Projects" articles, please read the guidelines at WP:ORG, WP:ADVERT, WP:COI and WP:Business' FAQ. Articles not complying with these guidelines are likely to be deleted. The underlying theme is that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an advertising medium or a business directory. JohnCD (talk) 17:28, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've redirected all the pages you have created to one article: Animate Projects. This is making no judgement on whether the article should stay, but it is much easier to have all information in one place as you have to make only one edit to keep it up to date. The other articles are not deleted, they are just redirects so anyone browsing to them will be automatically sent to the prime article.
I do echo JohnCD's concerns above, however. Please do look at the links he left. Kim Dent-Brown (Talk) 17:41, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
More advice: it looks to me as if the organisation you are writing about probably does meet the notability requirement of WP:ORG; but if your article is to survive a likely deletion challenge, it needs (a) to be rewritten in a much less promotional style, avoiding "peacock terms", to comply with Wikipedia's policy on neutral point of view; and (b) to cite verifiable references from independent sources, not just the organisation's own web-site and Myspace, to confirm what it says. Animate Projects

edit

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Animate Projects, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
