Welcome!

Hello AHusain3141, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

At Wikipedia, new Users do not automatically receive a welcome; not even a machine-generated welcome. Welcome messages come from other Users. They are personal and genuine. They contain an offer of assistance if such assistance is ever desired.

I suggest to everyone I welcome that they may find some of the following helpful — there’s nothing personal in my suggestion and you may not need any of them:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Dolphin (t) 12:14, 18 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Compare math modalities on several platforms! edit

Wikipedia:Rendering math

In particular, observe the behavior of the PNG option of your math preferences.

Changed to the LaTeX presentation. I don't see any agreement to use another. AHusain3141 (talk) 22:14, 22 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

it is a controversial issue, but that is why I invited you to actually compare renderings on several platforms and rendering choices, so that you may actually convince yourself that what might appear acceptable on your device is a dysfunctional "ransom letter" on others. That is the point of math templates, discussed in the manual pages, where the HTML-rendering mechanism of your device automatically adjusts fonts, sizes, and modalities. In line TeX is deprecated by copyeditors with any multi-platform experience. Cuzkatzimhut (talk) 22:22, 22 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for June 26 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited William Goldman (mathematician), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Princeton. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Eduardo Fradkin edit

Hello, AHusain3141. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Eduardo Fradkin, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Eduardo Fradkin to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks,

Caesar's aedileship edit

Hi! I'm rather surprised that this wasn't already in the article. Just dropping you a note to suggest that you add a reliable source for the fact, otherwise one or another of the article's many watchers is likely to slap a tag on your edit, or even delete it as unsourced. Cheers, Haploidavey (talk) 10:11, 11 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Have provided source, and expanded a little on the matter. Thanks for noticing the deficit! Haploidavey (talk) 10:46, 11 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
