editWelcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages (including user talk pages) such as Talk:Sten are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. They are not for general discussion about the article topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Loafiewa (talk) 05:32, 7 May 2022 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Mayday, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 14:39, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
- The reference is in the linked article. The cause of the Avianca 502 accident was the crew failing to convey their situation by using the term 'Mayday'.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.8.126.91 (talk • contribs)
- I see. In that case you're welcome to copy a relevant source to the Mayday article while reinserting your text, but as discussed at WP:CIRCULAR, it's insufficient to provide a link to another article for the purposes of satisfying sourcing needs. Thank you for your understanding! DonIago (talk) 16:57, 6 September 2022 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Slow Children (album) has been reverted.
Your edit here to Slow Children (album) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline (see also this list of frequently-discussed sources). The reference(s) you added or changed (https://www.discogs.com/release/23211953-Slow-Children-Slow-Children) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 20:01, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.
- Actually I'm listening to the reissue I linked to right now. I've just bought the very CD.
