Your edit [1] removed information. Why did you do that? --Guinnog 20:46, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --Guinnog 20:50, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I assure you I didn't "jump at the first sight of an anonymous editor". I disagreed and still disagree that removing this information from the article makes it better. It might be better if you explained your reasoning for the change you want to make rather than jumping to conclusions about my motives for reverting it. That is what edit summaries and talk pages are for. --Guinnog 20:57, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Your edit was probably fair enough, but please use edit summaries as a courtesy to fellow editors. Thank you. - Samsara (talkcontribs) 21:12, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your explanation. I understand now why you did it. "I assumed common sense would suffice" is a dangerous way to proceed; one person's common sense is not the same as another's, sadly. As your reasoning was indeed too long as you presented it to fit in an edit summary, you might want to consider using the talk page. Myself, I would have used an edit summary like "Does not belong in lead. Moving further down", which would have avoided the confusion occurring. Don't be confrontational if another editor reverts your work, especially when the work consists of an unexplained deletion of what looks like valid information. I'm letting your edit stand, though I may re-add the deleted info into the article further down. Happy editing. --Guinnog 21:13, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for experimenting with the page Hustle (TV series) on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do.
