February 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Harold Alexander, 1st Earl Alexander of Tunis may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 17:44, 9 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Succession boxes for life peers edit

Please don't add succession boxes for life peerages. Succession boxes are meant to allow readers to move quickly between related articles, such as successive holders of office. A life peerage, by definition, can't be inherited so there can't be any succession. The guidelines state clearly "Note that Life Peers are not entitled to succession boxes for their peerage at all, as it is not inherited". Sam Blacketer (talk) 09:18, 7 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop edit

Please stop removing the "| honorific_prefix = " field from various infoboxes. It is there for a reason. If you continue to do this it can be seen as disruptive editing for which you can be blocked. Your cooperation in this well be appreciated. MarnetteD|Talk 22:31, 9 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Paull Holme Tower has been reverted.
Your edit here to Paull Holme Tower was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.facebook.com/paull.tower) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.

However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link.
