Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page List of current first-class cricket teams do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.

The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bblogspot\.com' (link(s): http://kenyacricket.blogspot.com/2006/06/cca-announce-xi-for-atul-shah.html) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 23:34, 27 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

List of first-class cricket teams

edit

Hi,

If you are the user who made those changes then sure you should be thanked for the CORRECT changes, but why would you revert changes that corrected fairly obvious errors that you made? For instance the Australian territorial teams. And what of the Sri Lankan premier league club teams that play first-class cricket? Why were they removed?

The message you left is also a bit confusing as you seem to be quoting some, though I don't know who when you talk about Kenya select and Zimbabwe.

You also asked "why not have a list of domestic teams?". Go ahead and ask/propose it in the discussion section of the article's page and in the discussion section of any other relevant article, but just remember that even if you want there to be a list of just domestic cricket teams you shouldn't go about by converting an article which is clearly about first-class cricket teams into one about domestic teams.72.27.8.128 (talk) 20:55, 28 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Great Britain national cricket team

edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Great Britain national cricket team. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Great Britain national cricket team. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:06, 14 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

March 2010

edit

At Wikiproject Cricket we welcome additions which may expand upon the history of cricket, but your recent articles are nonsensical and pure fiction. Take Great Britain national cricket team, and article you recently created. There is no GB national cricket team and to say there will be is pure speculation. Then there is your One day Internationals Teams article. A list of nations who have and used to play ODI cricket already exists here. Please do some prior research and look at the project style guide here before contributing. AssociateAffiliate (talk) 19:42, 14 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
