November 2011 edit

Hello and welcome! I edit Wikipedia too, under the username Jeff G.. Wikipedia is written by people like you and me, so thank you for taking the time to participate. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made to Talk:Fred Rogers with this edit, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions about editing, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks!   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 19:21, 11 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:24, 11 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate that you enjoy using Wikipedia, please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a social network. Wikipedia is not a place to socialize or do things that are not directly related to improving the encyclopedia, as you did at Talk:Martha Stewart. Off-topic material may be deleted at any time. We're sorry if this message has discouraged you from editing this website, but the ultimate goal of this website is to build an encyclopedia. Thank you.   Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Gorilla, you may be blocked from editing. Ian.thomson (talk) 19:28, 11 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Cleveland Browns, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Ian.thomson (talk) 19:29, 11 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
