Edit warring about a category of wrestlers

edit

Hello 72.87.119.7. You seem to be engaged in mass removal of wrestlers from Category:All Elite Wrestling personnel. For example, at Bea Priestley. Can you explain what this is about, and whether anyone else supports this removal? It appears that most of your changes have been undone by others, indicating that you have no support. User:NJZombie knows something about the rationale for this category. If your removals of this category continue with no attempt to discuss you risk being blocked under our WP:Edit warring policy. EdJohnston (talk) 02:53, 8 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

They are the only wrestling personnel category around. Also they left AEW72.87.119.7 (talk) 02:54, 8 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
I can't speak as to why it's the only wrestling personnel category, if that's true. It's not really of interest to me. The mass removal was what drew me to the category. As far as the wrestlers in question leaving AEW, you're correct. However, as was explained to you, the first sentence at Category:All Elite Wrestling personnel states clearly, "The people in this category have worked in All Elite Wrestling as various personnel." It does not say that they currently work there. It says that they have worked there. This means that all of the listed wrestlers have done some sort of work for AEW at some point during the organization's existence. NJZombie (talk) 10:39, 8 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
If you think the category should not exist, why not contact User:NJZombie to find out why it is there? Or make a proposal for removing it at Category talk:All Elite Wrestling personnel? EdJohnston (talk) 02:59, 8 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

They should have wrestling personnel categories for every wrestler.72.87.119.7 (talk) 03:03, 8 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello 72.87.119.7. You are risking a block if you continue to revert at User talk:NJZombie. If you want Category:WWE personnel to exist you should get consensus for it to be created. If nobody else supports having that category, you should stop adding it to articles. EdJohnston (talk) 04:53, 17 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

So AEW personnel gets a pass but WWE doesn’t 72.87.119.7 (talk) 22:28, 17 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

It was explained to you above that categories for people, such as AEW personnel, apply whether they are currently with AEW or not. What part of that explanation was unclear? —C.Fred (talk) 02:24, 7 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

There is no WWE personnel category. And she’s no longer there.72.87.119.7 (talk) 02:25, 7 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
The lack of a WWE personnel category is a separate matter. —C.Fred (talk) 02:27, 7 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
It seems stupid that there is only AEW personnel 72.87.119.7 (talk) 02:28, 7 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
