Pacifism in Islam, Violence in Islam

edit

Please read Bold, Revert, Discuss on the way things are supposed to work around here. One source is hardly accessible and the other (i'm being generous here, since you are apparently referring to a Wikipedia artcile (not WP:RS) does not describe "pacifism". Also threatening to report me is not an actual argument. Feel free to do so. Kleuske (talk) 11:57, 18 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Islam and violence, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Failure to discuss issue at talk page first before doing potentially POV edits + statements added are not in book source given or likely cherry-picked. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Your recent editing history at Islam and violence shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. I've laid out my objections on the talk-page. Please respond there. Thanks. Kleuske (talk) 12:59, 18 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
