Parry Aftab edit

Thanks for your contributions to the Parry Aftab article. Unfortunately I've had to undo a lot of your changes as they were not in accordance with WP guidelines and policies. Before making further changes, please read WP:BLP, the guidelines for WP:Secondary sources. Also it's not appropriate to use bare URLs as citations. Lastly, Wikipedia's style is to summarize notable content (ie significant media coverage) in reliable sources in a disinterested tone. Therefore editorial and promotional sounding sentences like "She is a regular on many TV and news shows" and "Most US and international newspapers and major magazines have featured her" are not permitted, per WP:NPOV. Please contact me on my talk page if you need help. If you disagree with something in the Aftab article feel free to start a conversation the AFtab talk page here. I look forward to working together. Cheers!--KeithbobTalk 22:20, 23 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

A few other points:

  • Per WP:Surname we don't use titles like Ms. etc. We also refer to bio subjects by the last name. The first name is only mentioned one time and that is in the very first sentence of the article. Thanks--KeithbobTalk 22:30, 23 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • Wikipedia bios contain the significant, notable highlights of a person's career. Therefore a one sentence mention, especially in a press release or primary source like a government website, generally are not considered notable and/or worthy of inclusion in a WP biography. So please be careful with that. WP bios are not resumes.--KeithbobTalk 22:34, 23 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • A letter to the editor is not considered a reliable source on WP. Please read WP:RS. Thanks!--KeithbobTalk 22:38, 23 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • I agree with Keithbob that your edits don't appear to be very neutral here. Drmies (talk) 18:21, 26 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

February 2016 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Parry Aftab, you may be blocked from editing. Drmies (talk) 04:24, 2 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
