You have to be very careful to follow a neutral point of view in Wikipedia articles, which you did not do. And no, Rabble and Press Progress are not reliable sources for Wikipedia content — I read them both all the time myself, but they're activist blogs, not newsgathering organizations that follow the standards of neutral or objective journalism — and neither is Buzzfeed. The key to making something like this notable enough to warrant mention in her article is to show that coverage of it is getting into the Toronto Star or The Globe and Mail or the CBC, not Rabble or Buzzfeed.
