The reference to notable case has been recently amended in a way that is intended to highlight a lack of success in my career. Whilst accepting some of my case load has been contentious and has met with failure I would not think that this is a fair or accurate representation of my legal work.

In the circumstances since the heading seems to be contentious and likely to incite amendment I would ask you to delete the Notable cases section in its entirety. Alternatively a list of my cases (winning and losing) is in https://www.matrixlaw.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Clare-Montgomery-QC-CV.pdf

The section as amended is not fair because I represented Pinochet only in the House of Lords. Success or failure in those proceedings is hard to measure. The representation in the Magistrates Court and thereafter was by Clive Nicholls QC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/460063.stm).

I did not represent Pryce at either of her trials (she was represented by Julian Knowles QC see https://www.theguardian.com/uk/2013/feb/20/vicky-pryce-retrial-jury)).

Donald Tsang was represented by me at trial. He was acquitted of one charge of misconduct and convicted of the other and no verdict was returned on charges of corruption. The conviction is under appeal and he is out on bail. See http://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/law-crime/article/2122220/former-leader-donald-tsang-back-court-april-25-appeal.
