BL I-75 in Pontiac edit

Based on maps and best practices, the following edits of yours here are not correct:

  1. At the junction between Square Lake Road and Woodward Avenue, the direction of Bus. US 24 leading away from BL I-75 is southbound, ergo |dir1=south should remain.
  2. We do not capitalize directions per the Manual of Style (MoS), so |dir1=East is incorrect. The template lowercases the term anyway to enforce this guidance.
  3. Moving the Huron Drive out of the template is also unhelpful.
  4. According to the official MDOT map, M-59 westbound uses a section of University Drive.
  5. From the perspective of northbound BL I-75, the intersection with M-59 west is with the portion of it on University Drive. The two highways will continue together on Woodward Avenue Loop, so that street name should not appear.
  6. This intersection is the southern end of the concurrency as BL I-75/Bus. US 24/M-59 runs counterclockwise around Woodward Avenue Loop, not the northern end of the concurrency.
  7. Again, we do not capitalize directions per the MoS, so it should not appear that way in the notes.

For these reasons, please do not reinstate your edits. Imzadi 1979  02:20, 26 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Bus. US 24 in Pontiac edit

Based on maps and best practices, the following edits of yours here are not correct:

  1. At the intersection between Square Lake Road and Woodward Avenue, the roadway carrying BL I-75 away from Bus. US 24 is named Square Lake Road, and that name should appear.
  2. From the perspective of Bus. US 24, the direction of BL I-75 leading away from the intersection is south.
  3. The roadway carrying M-59 west into the concurrency with BL I-75/Bus. US 24 is University Drive according to the official MDOT map. M-59 west will merge onto Woodward Avenue Loop, which is the roadway carrying BL I-75/Bus. US 24, so that road name should not appear there.

Again, please do not reinstate these edits. Imzadi 1979  02:24, 26 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

To follow on, I've had to revert another pair of edits of yours. From the perspective of BL I-75 north/Bus. US 24 north, at the intersection where M-59 west merges in, BL I-75 north/Bus. US 24 north is already on Woodward Avenue Loop. The intersecting road carrying M-59 is University Drive. To change it to M-59 (Woodward Avenue Loop) would imply that the business loop was intersecting itself. Please desist from changing it back on either article again.
