Welcome to Wikipedia! I looked at some edits you made and I discovered that you are adding a space in front of the reference and behind the reference, like this ^[1] . You don't need to do that. If you want to make references go in Wikipedia style, they should be touching a character that isn't a space, like this^[2] or like this.^[3] Please check out Wikipedia:Teahouse if you have any questions for new users! :)
