Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Yahshua, you may be blocked from editing. tgeorgescu (talk) 14:46, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Apologies, can you be specific as to which part of my changes are vandalism? The wording of this page is crucial to interested parties. Incorrectly stating that it is philologically impossible based on the writings of one biblical scholar (reference outdated by the way) is quite incorrect and could be perceived as blasphemous. This should be removed to remain unbiased, but happy to discuss if you have specifics. 2607:FEA8:4B5E:FE0:C515:EE68:8B3E:327F (talk) 19:16, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Your recent editing history at Yahshua shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. tgeorgescu (talk) 19:31, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

You're not being accused of vandalism in this message, you're being accused of edit warring, which you are doing. You need to take your concerns to Talk:Yahshua and establish consensus for the change you wish to make. AntiDionysius (talk) 20:20, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay sounds good, thank you for explaining. I will take this to Talk:Yahshua 2607:FEA8:4B5E:FE0:C515:EE68:8B3E:327F (talk) 22:04, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Well, you can't for the next ~47.5 hours. AntiDionysius (talk) 22:05, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia has no ban on blasphemy, see WP:CENSOR for details. So, it is irrelevant if you consider the article blasphemous. tgeorgescu (talk) 20:32, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  PhilKnight (talk) 21:19, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
