December 2019 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Neural machine translation are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. OK I got it. Thanks! I thought that by giving some insight on Artificial Neural Network, I could improve the page. I'll delete all stuff I wrote on the two pages. I'll write an article on the subject on a compu-linguistics journal and you could put the reference on the page if you'd like.

SORRY!

Mind you, on the Talk:Artificial neural network, my comment was right on topic for I was explaining why no one could come up with an explanation of the concept: Because it doesn't exist. :-) But I deleted it also. So I guess the debate will go on forever. :-)

As I've said to you before, WP:No original research and WP:Reliable sources. Talk pages aren't for discussing why you think the sources are wrong (unless you've got other reliable sources disagreeing with them) and definitely not for posting your own theories. Largoplazo (talk) 13:50, 15 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
Largoplazo, there is here a concept you don't seem to understand. I'll explain it to you again in other terms and maybe you'll understand it this time around.
Here it is.
Wikipedia editors tell X who wrote a complex article to simplify his explanation. He doesn't want to do it for Artificial networks are a fabrication and he oviously cannot explain how the concept works.
An argument between them arises
I enter the stage and I say that Neural networks don't exist, this is bull and this is why you'll never read any simple explanation.
Now was I in topic? OF COURSE I WAS. intervened to tell everyone to let go for this page will never improve. I certainly couldn't be more on topic!
In other words, I gave an important piece of info that could explain why a simple explanation on neural artificial networks could never be provided and therefore the page could never be improved.
If I say why a page cannot be improved am I off topic of a subject being: How can a page could be improved?
I hope you'll understand better this time.
It wouldn't hurt if you showed some open-mindedness and a true will to understand someone else's point of view and let go off your rigidity.
Best regards.
