Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, National Directorate of Security, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 00:30, 2 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
You removed a large amount of text at once, no explanation for its removal. This seems rather significant to remove:

The NDS operates both within the boundaries of Afghanistan and also within foreign nations, and accordingly, is the principal organisation of Afghanistan functioning to obtain intelligence and prosecute individuals found to be guilty of criminal and terrorist activities, and accordingly to protect persons living within Afghanistan from threats to their security Jim1138 (talk) 00:54, 2 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Jim1138:That section was poorly written. I summarized it by stating that the NDS was the primary domestic and foreign intelligence agency of Afghanistan. The Deletion was because I was condensing information, such as those from the reports page, into operations and organization to make it more reader friendly and grammatically correct. Also the source for that no longer exists, the NDS is also not a law enforcement agency, but rather an intelligence one, more akin to the FSB of Russia. For a reformed edit, which it needs, what would you recommend adding to address you concerns. Also thank you for being civil with me, I'm sorta new to this.24.192.250.124 (talk) 00:58, 2 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
I would suggest that you remove a smaller pieces of info leaving a good wp:edit summary so that others don't think you are whitewashing the article. Dead links don't invalidate information it is generally assumed that if the link is dead that the info is correct unless shown otherwise. Unless the link is dead at the time it is added, of course. You probably should update the |accessdate= parameter to show it's still good and that you have checked it to some degree. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 01:17, 2 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
BTW: I didn't get your first ping. Sometimes if it is split into two saves it doesn't generate a notification. See wp:ping Jim1138 (talk) 01:17, 2 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
Excellent Thank you!

Please do not add or change content, as you did at United States Air Force Security Forces, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - theWOLFchild 19:13, 6 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Thewolfchild: thank you. I don't know how I forgot to put that in. The document also has a ton of information on recent history and procedure, which I'll be adding. Thanks for fixing the page, and also removing the previously bad information in that section. 24.192.250.124 (talk) 19:53, 6 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
