where?

edit

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Fernandez_(entrepreneur) the lack of place of origin or residence is a bit of a no brainer.... JarrahTree 11:04, 22 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Can you please explain the origin part? For residence, OK, that makes sense, It doesn't need to be mentioned. I'm removing it. How else can I make it better? 22KeiteEvelyn (talk) 11:14, 22 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Human beings are born somewhere and statistically all world citizens have country of origin - to have a biography of a person without country of origin or residence is likely to see some enthusiastic editor putting the bio up for deletion without compunction. If you wish to have a bio with no place of origin or residence I dont think the article will last very long. JarrahTree 11:22, 22 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Alright! I'll dig into it and try to find something on the internet. Thanks for pointing it out. How about I put it in my draft meanwhile? I mean, No rush.

Also, I'm trying to figure out how these ribbons are added (Using the Ribbon devices template) to the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Baucom. Adds a brilliant touch. However, I'm trying to find the trick as not all the rewards have ribbons. Can you please help? 22KeiteEvelyn (talk) 11:25, 22 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
