Speedy deletion nomination of User:1952socrates

edit

A tag has been placed on User:1952socrates, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Your question.
1952socrates (talk) 20:49, 9 September 2010 (UTC) I have spent many hours, carefully following the article wizard and creating your first article instructions -finally I have produced this draft for editing/improvement. If I can be informed as to how it can be improved, I will do my best to do so. Thank youReply

I am not sure what your (User:1952socrates) specific question is, but seeing the issues you seem to be having, I think it would be useful for you to study up on all of the following:
There's a lot of good information there, hope it helps! Shearonink (talk) 18:56, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Help query (10:12, 11 September 2010) from User:1952socrates

The advice I was given I have already spent many hours on -I have spent days trying to prepare my first article!! Basically I am unable to discover exactly what the criticism is really about. I am trying to provide an article about 3 new scientific terms very relevent for the 21st century ie The Science of Learning The skills We Need To Succeed Success Feelosophy I am unable to discover what is needed to make this articles acceptable to Wikipedia. 1952socrates (talk) 10:12, 11 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you'd like to know more about WIkipedia and you are trying to construct your first article, please read all (really, all) of the following bullet-pointed Wikipedia articles. As a teacher (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:User_experience_feedback), I am sure you know that one does not attempt to master a subject on the first day of class. Mastery only comes with time and study. That being said, all you have to do is study up on the following subjects, then you should be good to go!
Hope this helps, Shearonink (talk) 19:02, 12 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dear Shearlink -Thank you - Although I feel I have spent an inordinate amount of time studying and complying with all you have quoted, I will repeat the whole process again and try to display the skills we need to succeed that the article is about. The reason that the article is so significant is because it is about 'success feelosophy' ie the scientific research that is now available to help everyone learn to succeed -so I will try to apply it!!!
