October 2017 edit

A number of problems with your recent edits:

Firstly we don't add comments to an archive as you did more than once at Talk:England/Archive 2. There is a notice to that effect at the top of the archive page.

Secondly if you are adding comments to a talk or discussion page, you need to sign it by adding 4 tildes (~~~~) to the end of your comments, see WP:signature. This does not apply to an edit to an article.

Thirdly, when replying to a comment on a talk page, you should indent your comment by adding one more colon in front of your comment than there is on the comment to which you are replying, see WP:TPG. --David Biddulph (talk) 14:25, 5 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

April 2018 edit

Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:Gross domestic product for general discussion of the topic or other unrelated topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Thank you. Your comments at Talk:Brexit appear to be thinly veiled soapboxing as well. Acroterion (talk) 12:02, 24 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

July 2021 edit

Hello, I'm Mandelbr0t. I noticed that you recently removed content from Battle of Stirling Bridge without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.   Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Battle of Falkirk, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you.
