Non-free content is pretty much never allowed to be used for WP:DECORATIVE purposes for individual entries in tables or list-like tables found in articles per WP:NFCC#1, WP:NFCC#8, WP:NFTABLES and WP:NFLISTS because a link to the primary Wikipedia article where the same non-free content can be seen is considered more than sufficient for Wikipedia's purposes. Proving a rationale for such a use is WP:JUSTONE of the ten non-free content use criteria that a non-free file needs to satisfy each time it's used, and failing just one of these criterion makes the entire non-free use invalid. Of course, you may disagree with thie assessment, and you can seek other opinions at either WP:MCQ or WT:NFCC, but the long-standing common practice has been to not allow this type of non-free use. Finally, one thing about coats of arms is that the written description of the coat-of-arms (i.e. the blazon) is generally not considered eligible for copyright protection as explained in c:COM:COA; typically, only the individual visual representations (i.e. the emblazon) of a coat-of-arm are eligible for copyright protection (depending upon their age and complexity). This means that if you were to create an original emblazon of a coat of arms based entirely on its blazon, then you might be able to upload that as your "own work" to Wikimedia Commons. This is what some users do when they want to use a non-free COA in an table like you seem to want to do. You might be able to find someone to help you create a version OK to use in that table at Wikipedia:WikiProject Heraldry and vexillology. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:01, 23 May 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for taking the time to add the settlement maps for Scottish councils. Can I just ask if you are planning to to one for South Lanarkshire? If not, I wouldn't mind giving it a go since I could adapt your parameters (otherwise I wouldn't know where to start) but if its on your 'to do' list for some point I'll just leave you to it! Thanks also for adding the map to Edinburgh, I moved it into the pushpin map but didn't know how to change the map type, so thanks for updating it. Someone did remove the map at one point, but hopefully now it will stay. Polyamorph (talk) 20:05, 4 September 2023 (UTC)

Many thanks for re-adding the map - time will tell if it will stay. On a side note, it appears that a number of European capitals currently have two simultaneously visible maps in their infoboxes, as my initial edit suggested. These are: Amsterdam, Andorra la Vella, Cardiff, City of San Marino, Helsinki, Kyiv, Mariehamn, Minsk, Prague, Reykjavík, Rome, Tbilisi, Vilnius and Zagreb. 185.107.14.2 (talk) 22:24, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
