Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Category:19th-century church buildings in Hong Kong, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Please don't add "redlinks" to categories. Please read through how categories work before you remove or add pages. Mason (talk) 20:55, 22 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi 185.104.63.112! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Category:19th-century church buildings in Hong Kong several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Category talk:19th-century church buildings in Hong Kong, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Mason (talk) 21:09, 22 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
