Overlinking and other excessive additions

edit

Your efforts are appreciated, but most of them contain excessive additions to the content. Take for example the edit at [1]:

  • Many of your edits add Wikilinks to years, like 1961 and 1986, and other links that add no value to the reader. Please read the guidance at Wikipedia:Overlinking to get a better idea of what sort of things should be linked, and what shouldn't.
  • Captions and {{Short description}} should be brief and free of unnecessary details.
  • Reiterating amounts like $1,785,000 with the addition of $1.78 million dollars is not very helpful.
  • Plot summaries and descriptions should be concise, not detailed.
  • It is usually excessive detail to add lifespans to a name (e.g. Joe Schmoe (1975-2022))

Thanks for your attention to these concerns. I look forward to future improved improvements. signed, Willondon (talk) 02:24, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
