The Petrified Forest National Park released the image on their Flickr page, and since they own the copyright, and are owned by the US government, the image is in the public domain. That is US law. http://www.nps.gov/disclaimer.htm FunkMonk (talk) 16:23, 6 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

The NPS DOES not own the copyright and the image was originally posted by mistake. It has since been removed.

Ok, then that is what you should have explained from the beginning. Are you the artist? According to US law, work done by people in their hire is in the public domain. FunkMonk (talk) 18:04, 6 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Andrewying. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Mount Timpanogos without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. — Andrew Y talk 16:50, 9 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
