Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).

Edit warring

Don't edit war - engage in the discusion at Talk:Patreon#Recent_removal_of_content --ZimZalaBim talk 04:11, 21 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

You are edit warring for no reason other than to unilaterally delete content on the page! 144.130.166.10 (talk) 04:13, 21 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please chill and engage in the discussion there. --ZimZalaBim talk 04:14, 21 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
The only discussion is that you started mass deleting parts of an article without consulting the talk page, you are in the wrong! 144.130.166.10 (talk) 04:17, 21 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Your argument doesn't hold much strength given you don't seem to have been contributing to this encyclopedia project for very long, and seem to be pushing for a particular POV. Please consider this. --ZimZalaBim talk 04:21, 21 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Patreon. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. StartOkayStop (talk) 22:55, 21 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

  Hello, I'm Jlwoodwa. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Bundamba State Secondary College, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. jlwoodwa (talk) 01:55, 18 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for violations of Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ⇌ Jake Wartenberg 01:59, 18 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
